What is the right bed frame to suit your Eco Kids mattress collection?
Our premium mattress range fits on any bed frame that is stable, level and offers sufficient support and ventilation. The most suitable bed frame is a solid flat slat system, and if the slats are exposed, we suggest the gap between the flat slats should be no more than 10cm apart. We don’t recommend using flexible (posture) slats or a spring bed frame, as they can change the feel and support features of the bed.
Using your Eco Kids mattress on the floor is okay without a bed frame for short periods, such as when friends stay over for fun kids’ slumber parties and take over the house, whether it’s the bedroom, living room or even dining room! However, we don’t recommend keeping the mattress on the floor for extended periods as it restricts airflow space, which can cause issues with mould.
